Material and condition both matter
Asbestos cement is different from asbestos insulating board (AIB), even where products look similar. If there is no reliable identification, we may need sampling before agreeing the work. Damage, access and how the product is fixed can affect the method.
- Roof and wall sheets or panels
- Soffits and suitable cement boards
- Flues, soil pipes and rainwater goods
- Loose or stored cement waste assessed for collection
Do not assume a board is cement
A photograph is useful for understanding location and access, but it cannot distinguish every cement board from AIB or confirm asbestos content. If the material or work falls outside our scope, we will explain the appropriate next step or referral.

Can damaged sheets be collected?
Send a description and photos without disturbing them. The condition and amount of debris affect whether the collection is suitable and what controls are needed.
Can I pressure-wash an old roof first?
Do not pressure-wash or disturb a suspect asbestos roof to prepare for our visit. Contact us to discuss the condition and intended work.
