One enquiry for the tiles and the adhesive
Old thermoplastic or vinyl floor tiles can leave a second question underneath: the black bitumen adhesive. Tell us whether the tiles are still down, partly removed or already gone, and what flooring work you have planned. We assess the tiles and adhesive separately so your quote covers the work you actually need.

Know what your floor will be left like
We agree the achievable finish before you book. The substrate, remaining adhesive and access around edges or fixed units can affect the result. Removal does not automatically leave the floor ready for a new covering. Floor repairs, levelling and fitting your new flooring must be arranged separately.

Your questions, answered.
Can you remove bitumen if the tiles have already gone?
Yes, send photos of the exposed adhesive, the approximate area and any existing test report. We will review the substrate and condition before confirming the method and achievable finish.
What if I do not have an asbestos test result?
Send the information you have. We can discuss sampling if needed. A tile result does not automatically confirm the asbestos content of the adhesive beneath it.
Can you work around kitchen units?
Tell us which units and fittings will remain. We will explain any access limits and agree which areas are included before you book.
How soon will I receive a quote?
We aim to quote within one working day when we have enough information. If testing, a visit or more details are needed, we will explain the next step.
