Removal and collection are different enquiries
If the material is still fixed to the building, tell us where it is and what needs removing. If it has already been taken down, we need the quantity, condition, packaging and current storage location. D&M assesses both removal and collection enquiries in Kidderminster so the quotation reflects the actual work.
Old garage roofs and cement products
Cement roof sheets, panels, flues and pipes can require different access arrangements. A board should not be assumed to be asbestos cement simply from its appearance. Send existing laboratory results if available and take photographs from a safe position. We discuss identification where the material is uncertain.
Waste stored on your property
For a collection, estimate the number or size of sheets or bags without disturbing them. Tell us whether they are wrapped, whether there is loose debris and how near a vehicle can get. Do not unwrap, break or move material for the enquiry. Any required packaging work is assessed and agreed in the quotation.
Planning work inside the building
For floors, include the area, tiles and adhesive, substrate if known and any fitted units. For ceilings or walls, identify the rooms, surfaces and intended removal boundaries. Include the proposed timetable for your builder or flooring contractor, along with whether the property will remain occupied.
Records for your property
A waste collection includes a hazardous waste consignment note. Our removal work also includes D&M’s Certificate of Cleanliness (Non-Licensable Works), recording completion, cleaning checks and visual inspection of the agreed area. It is not an independent four-stage clearance certificate. We can arrange third-party reassurance air testing separately on request.
