A practical way to help
A garden rescue led by Ben and the Flawless Cleaning Services team had an extra challenge: an old asbestos shed stood in the way of the wider transformation. The family had been looking into having it removed. We had watched the team’s videos and wanted to contribute, so Marc and Alex made the journey to take on the asbestos removal at no charge.
D&M’s part in the project
Our contribution covered the shed’s asbestos roof and wall panels. The video follows the team dismantling the shed, wrapping and loading the material, and dealing with sections embedded in concrete. With the shed removed, the Flawless team could continue the garden clearance and install new fencing.
A team effort, with a lasting difference
The wider garden rescue took three days. Flawless Cleaning Services and the other contributors handled the gardening, fencing and finishing touches; D&M provided the asbestos removal. Thank you to Ben and the team for welcoming us, and to the family for allowing the project to be shared. We were glad to help remove one obstacle and leave the team able to move forward.
Have a garage or shed you need removed?
You do not need to know every detail before getting in touch. Send photographs taken from a safe position, approximate dimensions and your postcode. Tell us whether you want a roof removed, asbestos wall panels dealt with or the whole structure taken down. We will review your information and set out a quotation for your own property.
What will remain afterwards?
Tell us whether you want to keep the base and whether the building forms part of a boundary. Foundations, buried material and adjoining structures need their own assessment. D&M does not provide replacement roofing, fencing or other reinstatement; arrange those works separately. The free removal shown here was our contribution to this particular community project.
